PBUWCD rules include the following in regards to drilling of a water well:
  • No person shall hereafter drill, operate, equip or complete a well
    without having first applied to the Board for a Permit or Registration.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED RULES OF THE
PERMIAN BASIN UNDERGROUND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT

July 25, 2019 at 6:00 pm

The Permian Basin Underground Water Conservation District (District) will
receive public input at a hearing on proposed amendments to the District’s
well spacing rules that address spacing of wells from property lines as well
as spacing exceptions and variances.

The hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m. on July 25, 2019, at the District’s office
at 708 West St. Peter Street, Stanton, Texas.  A copy of the proposed rule
amendments will be available 20 days before the hearing at the District’s
office at 708 West St. Peter Street, Stanton, Texas, and on the District’s web
site at www.pbuwcd.com.
